We’ve been fans of Lindsey Adelman’s beautiful lighting for years. Her branching fixtures, which feature hand-blown glass spheres, employ fascinating contrasts: industrial aesthetics with obvious hand-crafting, and an implied opulence with humble, simple materials.

Andy is en route to Santa Fe! We’ll be doing a photo shoot tomorrow, and have meetings scheduled into early next week. We can’t wait to capture some new imagery for the website and blog. In the meantime, here are a few of our favorite pictures from our last dual-office meeting in Santa Fe.

Things have been busy at Ore Studios! New projects are entering the office, and we’re also working on odds and ends for several existing jobs. Here’s a peek at a few additional images that were just taken at our Hillside Avenue project.

April 26, 2010.

One of our newest projects is an early 1900s California craftsman home with a huge amount of architectural millwork that has been painted white. Even though we love natural wood, this millwork isn’t original, so we’ve decided to leave it painted. Instead, we’ll introduce contrast with dark wallpapers and paints.
