We’ve been fans of Lindsey Adelman’s beautiful lighting for years. Her branching fixtures, which feature hand-blown glass spheres, employ fascinating contrasts: industrial aesthetics with obvious hand-crafting, and an implied opulence with humble, simple materials.
Lindsey’s site is a great resource for information on her lighting and other work, and also offers a glimpse into her process. A few months ago, we were pleased to see that she had included instructions for a DIY branching fixture. It looks like a great weekend project- what are you waiting for?!
