We recently had the pleasure of purchasing a dining table from Urban Hardwoods, one of our favorite resources for slab furnishings. Our client, who lives just outside of Seattle, was on a tight deadline for a diminutive table, so rather than commission something, we shopped the in-stock selection at Urban. They had just what we needed; it was purchased that afternoon and delivered two days later. Local and sustainable combined with instant gratification- what could be better? (And the table is stunning in its new home; look for photos in a few months when the project is scheduled to wrap up!)
