Recently, we showed this tear sheet of an apartment at 211 Elizabeth Street in New York (decorated by Own Entity) to a client, and it inspired a fast and furious search for mid-century lighting.
Given the heat we’re experiencing in the Northeast, we’re craving rooms that are light, open and uncluttered at the moment. Rattan furnishings, with their ability to be simultaneously lightweight and strong, can be a perfect addition to those kinds of spaces. And when it comes to rattan, no one does it as beautifully as McGuire.
The work of New York City based interior designer Amie Weitzman is clean, contemporary, carefully edited, and seamlessly blends modern and classical elements into interiors that are intricate yet easy.
