Given the heat we’re experiencing in the Northeast, we’re craving rooms that are light, open and uncluttered at the moment. Rattan furnishings, with their ability to be simultaneously lightweight and strong, can be a perfect addition to those kinds of spaces. And when it comes to rattan, no one does it as beautifully as McGuire.
We’re particularly drawn to the BassamFellows pieces in McGuire’s current catalog. Inspired by the Wiener Werkstatte, the BassamFellows collection is based on pure forms and simple materials- bent rattan, walnut, leather, and brass.
The pieces are all perfectly proportioned, lending them a timeless modern quality.
