This line is the perfect addition to any contemporary interior. Although the lines are relatively clean and modern, the organic materials and handmade qualities lend a sense of warmth and softness that is all too often lacking in contemporary design.
It’s fun working on projects that lead you in directions you would not have anticipated.
We stayed in a boutique hotel in Brooklyn last weekend, and while the overall design of the rooms was a little too cold and contemporary for our personal tastes (a lot of frosted glass, white quartz, white Corian, and espresso-stained wood), there were a few occasional pieces in the room that we really loved. We could see all of these pieces working in very modern or more traditional spaces- they’re great basics.
We spent a few days in Boston during the last two weeks; one day last week was spent scouting locations for a photo shoot for a cellist friend, and this week we went back for a day to do the actual photography.
