Some GORGEOUS fabrics from the new Manuel Canovas collection just arrived in the office and it is safe to say that we are in love with them. Perhaps it’s kismet…we have just begun to work on a residential remodel in which the client has asked for bold accents of red and fuchsia. So, some of these fabrics will most certainly be contenders for this project.
We must confess that pink is not a color that we naturally gravitate towards unless we’re designing a little girl’s room. However, some recent interior shots that we’ve seen in shelter magazines and blogs have convinced us that we need to give pink a second chance.
After looking at color endlessly for days on end, sometimes it’s nice to take a break and admire something completely different. We’ve never attempted a truly monochromatic interior before, but this 1960’s house by Jørn Utzon certainly inspires us to dream about it.
With fashion and interior trends gravitating towards this rich hue (let’s face it – they have fully embraced it), there have been a number of beautiful magazine spreads featuring elegant purple interiors.
