We usually don’t share what our finished projects looked like before we started working on them, but we thought it might be fun to take a brief look at some early pictures from our newly completed Ninth Street residence. (After all, we aren’t immune to the satisfaction of a good “before and after,” either!)
We just completed a quick and easy bedroom update at Hillside Avenue, one of our ongoing projects. While we gut renovated the kitchen at this house on a tight schedule almost two years ago, the furnishing of its rooms has been a more measured task. With their family growing, the homeowners invited us back to provide a little help with some of the private upstairs rooms.
Working with families and creating kid-friendly rooms is a great source of pride for us. Since we both have young children, we truly understand the challenges of designing with the smallest members of the household in mind! So we’re thrilled that Parenting magazine is featuring one of our rooms in their March 2012 issue.
We’re smitten with a new way to organize the mountains of product and interiors tear sheets that were threatening to bury our desks and overtake our walls!
